We encourage everyone to be insprired to serve and volunteer in whatever capacity workable to them. Providers working with Docs Who Care have the time and resources to do this because of our unique staffing model (i.e., working one 24/7 shift each month). Staff at local hospitals sense our mission of service and can also be inspired to volunteer.Â
Dr. Gary Morsch, the president of Docs Who Care, started Heart to Heart International, a medical relief organization that stages airlifts of medicines and medical supplies to needy countries, responds to disasters, and organizes volunteer medical teams who work throughout the world. Heart to Heart has now become one of the largest volunteer relief organizations in the world. Many of the physicians working with Docs Who Care are a part of Heart to Heart volunteer medical teams.Â
