Recruitment Report

Holiday Bells
After weeks of triple digit temperatures and a country-wide heat wave, it’s hard to believe the enjoyable temperatures of fall are nearly upon us. We endure many extremes in other seasons, but fall in the Midwest is something to be cherished. I can’t wait!

As hard as it is to imagine, with fall quickly approaching, the staff at Docs Who Care are already working ahead on schedules for November, December, and January. So, while you’re enjoying the sights and sounds of a lovely summer day, we are already hearing “Holiday Bells” in the Docs Who Care office.

Already a DWC provider? Please consider working during the holiday season this year.

If you are not yet a DWC provider, the process is easy. Just complete an application and send it to our office. Review and verification generally takes 2-3 weeks.

Contact us now for more information on available holiday schedules.

Holiday Pay Information
Docs Who Care recognizes nine (9) holidays:
Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day are paid at 2 times the hourly rate.  The remaining holidays are paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate and include New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, and New Year’s Eve.

Current Needs
As you know, we strive to have our schedules completed 60-90 days in advance.  This is always our goal; however, we continually have last-minute opportunities and situations that develop.  We have many needs right now – particularly in Kansas.  If you are Kansas licensed and have availability this fall, please contact us right away.

Physician Referral Bonus?  Absolutely.  If you can’t work, but know someone who may be interested, please have them contact us.  We have a terrific physician referral bonus program.  If you refer someone who works 180 hours over 90-days (with some future hours scheduled), you will receive $1,000.

Question/Answer

Q:  What is this “verification” process I’ve been hearing about?

A:  Verification is the name we have given to the process of reviewing the documentation that accompanies your Docs Who Care application.  When we “verify” your file, we are simply requesting written verifications from your medical school, residency, references, specialty board, licensure, DEA, state narcotics, and certifications.  Verification is not the same as credentialing. Hospitals credential and grant privileges.
